How Do I Know That I Am Saved?

If you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord", and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved."  Romans 10:9-10.  God says that if you believe in His Son, Jesus, you can live forever with Him in glory. "For God so loved the world that He gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life." John 3:16. 

So did you accept the gift of eternal life that Jesus is offering you?  If not, then just ask Jesus to come into your heart as your personal Lord and Savior and that is how you can know that you are saved.  Talk to God from your heart, He loves you. We believe this prayer will help guide you:
"Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I do not deserve eternal life.  But, I believe You died and rose from the grave to purchase a place in Heaven for me.  Jesus, come into my life, take control of my life, forgive my sins and save me.  I am now placing my trust in You alone for my salvation and I accet your free gift of eternal life."  Now believe by faith that it is done.  Amen!

Now That I Am Saved, What Should I Do Next?

First, you should forgive all those who hurt you as our Father has forgiven you and pray for healing emotionally, physically and mentally.  Most importantly, forgive yourself as God has already forgiven you.

"Forgive and you will be forgiven", Luke 6:37

No matter how difficult your Christian walk may seem, establish a prayer life and trust that God hears you and will answer you!  "The Lord is near
   to me and all who call upon Him, to all who call upon him sincerely and in truth.  He will fulfill the desires of those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him; He also will hear their cry and will save them.", Psalm 145:18-19.

Start reading your Bible.  At first it will seem hard to understand, but His Holy Spirit will teach you what you can't understand.  His Word was
    written so that we could know exactly what He wants us to do with the life we have been given.  "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet, and a
    light unto my path", Psalm 119:105.  Also, pray and ask God to lead you to a good Church home where God's Word is indeed preached.
