OUR MISSION
Solid Rock will stand on the unshakeable foundation of the word of God, (Matthew 16:18) God has charged Solid Rock to minister salvation to all nations and creed. Our primary mission is Outreach; feeding the hungry, assisting the less fortunate, educating the youth and supporting businesses. We will stretch past meeting just the local community need, into a much broader gospel field, through Worldwide Outreach and Evangelism.
OUR BELIEFS

We believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God, inspired by the Holy Spirit.

We believe there is only one living and true God, Eternal, with unlimited power, creator of all things and that in the one God are three distinct Persons: The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.

We believe that mankind*s only hope of redemption is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

We believe in salvation and healing through faith, in the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

We believe the inward evidence of salvation to the believer is by the witness of the Holy Spirit: the outward evidence to others is a life of holiness and love.

We believe that Water Baptism by immersion, in the Name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, is a public witness in obedience to Christ.

We believe that church is the body of Christ.
HOW WE WORSHIP

We lift our hands in praise because in the Bible we read, Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord (Psalm 134:2).

We play musical instruments because in the Bible we read, And all the house of Israel played before the LORD on all manner of instruments (2 Samuel 6:5).

We clap and shout unto God because in the Bible we read, O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph (Psalm 47:1).

We dance before the LORD because in the Bible we read, *Praise Him with the timbrel and dance: praise Him with stringed instruments and organs* (Psalm 150:4).
